Beautiful Day on the lake - surprised to look over at the first wave and see people walking in the middle of the lake ! But we were subsequntly warned about it in our pre swim brief.

The transition area was good but the toilets a bit few and far between

The bike course apparently people had some difficulty with signs being removed but personally i didnt encounter any issues - there were some good marshalls and some not so good, I cannot comment on the Run course though

The nightmare for me was split transition and i understand they had some logisitics to sort out but having to rack my bike at the stadium.. wait for a coach to take me back to the lake to collect my car.. to then have to drive back to the stadium to collect my bike and then go home from there was a bit of a let down

But all in all i enjoyed the event and would probably do it again
