← Endure24 - Reading

After coming here last year for the first time, we returned  as part of a smaller team in order to be able to complete more laps.  We were here with another larger group too.  Some pre race anxiety with no replies from the organisers regarding their decision on whether campers would be segregated in their own area, as they initially suggested, which would have meant the team being split up. Thankfully, this decision was changed and we could all camp together, though we didn't know this until we arrived.

Camp site is large with plenty of space.  Portaloos aplenty and they were kept remarkably clean throughout. Downside was only the one block of showers in the other campsite, for everyone to use,  which were a bit hit and miss temperature wise, but lovely if you got one that worked.

The course is pretty, trail, and doesn't get boring.  Great friendly atmosphere between  all the runners.  The camper and fairy glade were a bit lacking this year compared to last - less music, drinks and sparkles on the floor! No sign of the fairies on any of my three night laps either!  The tshirt was almost identical to last years too which was a bit of a shame.

Fab event - highly recommend trying at least once!  Will return to have a go solo!
