← Chiltern Chase
This was the first time I've completed this race. It was a lovely day which made running conditions ideal. Set in the middle of nowhere but easy to find with a huge field for parking. Quite unique having open air urinals which was just as well as the queue for the portaloos was huge. There as a nice atmosphere around with the option for runners to do the 5k, 10k or 15k. I chose the 10k but wish I'd done the 15k. The course itself wasn't particularly demanding but was just right for a trail course. It was a shame there was no medal for finishers to show recognition utility hey ho. Maybe something for next year...? There were lots of cakes and drinks to buy afterwards and ultimately it was all for charity (hence no medals). I think I probably would do it again but medals do make a difference!
