This was the first time I've tackled this course so I didn't quite know what to expect but it's a fab little race. 

Register on line before hand or enter on the day. Picked up the numbers on the night which was really quick and easy. The event was also chip timed which is pretty rare at these small events. 

A 2 lap course with some on and off road. The off road sections were quite tough with a few inclines, covered with straw it made knowing what was under foot tough. But then onto closed roads which was lovely. 2 well stocked water stations which on a hot evening was much needed. 

The marshals out on the course were amazing and provided great support all the way along. As did public support at the start, middle and finish. 

Crossed the line to collect my goody bag which contained a small bag of haribo and a cereal bar. Then you had the choice of a bottle of red or white wine, personalised for the event. 

Refreshments on offer afterwards were brilliant, I opted for an icecream rather than the hog roast and beer! 

A fab event and I can't wait to be back next year
