Sometimes you go for the city escape, sometimes the challenge and sometimes because you grabbed a free entry place. :)

None of these apply for this race, for me it is all about the bling and encrusted penis waving finishing shirt.  I mean come on a spinning Willy? what is not to like... oh and a buff. :)

Value is top rate, service stations 5*. get to 20 miles have a cider or something stronger.  I forget my GPS watch on this race made it very much more enjoyable.  just run head up and enjoy the finest English countyside.

Parking about a 5 min walk from the number pickup.. At least get there with 5 mins to spare or you will have to run down the runners to get to the car park.. Think I made it with 6 mins to go. :)

But in those 6mins number dished out and race intructions gave out over the sound system.

Race wise it is English tough.  forever up and down, the last 1.5km are amazing as you drop off the hills into the town square.

where the bling awaits and the famous foot high ice cream.  so make sure you have a few quid handy.

Get the race done.... pure and simple.... just make sure you enter as soon as it goes live.  :) set about 5 alams and go sick from work. :)
