Fabulously well organised event yet again from Mat & Dale. Course distances all spot on. route signage on bike is clearest I've ever seen, huge fluo signs. Marshalls everywhere! No fuss, everyone friendly, nice venue, Transition, and course, nothing not to like about this event. best post race food I've had for years, proper fish n chips & greek chicken wraps!! Finish gantry and its snazzy graphics as good as or even better than MDot IM. No wonder the Half IM was official Middle Distance Champs. Sea sw1m is a doddle, and net you have the current with you, partially point to point. jumping off the Pier end is a hoot. always a bit of inevitable tourist congestion at Birling Gap, I lost 15 secs maybe. nowt for a scenic finish. Love running with the tourists and spectators along the promenade but no conflicts at all as we are barriered and coned off. run is flat as a pancake.
