From the moment I signed up online this race was well organised .

Valencia is a runners dream , nice weather , flat ,great support and unique finish line 

registration at the expo was a breeze even for me as an overseas runner , great goody bag and t-shirt ... a nice touch is the "wall of fame " outside the expo ( which is also near finish area ) where every runners name is on the wall .

the race itself I loved , Valencia is a lovely city and  the people adore their running , support was amazing pretty much all around the pancake flat course , the fire brigade are also on hand spraying you with hoses from the fire engines to cool you em route ! 

The only slight complaint is the 1/2 mile or so to enter the finish straight , the crowds are somewhat over exuberant and although you feel like a superstar with all the noise and pats on back , yiu cannot overtake as it's pretty much single file where they pour into the course .. still that's a very minor complaint ! 

Out of my 12 marathons this is my favourite and I breaking a golden rule by doing this race again this year , that's how much I loved the whole event and city !
