Parking at HQ was a little bit of a problem due to sharing with sports centre and busy parkrun , that aside , registration was very smooth , start of race was by fireworks and not gun which was different .
This race does what it says on the tin . It's an out and back meaner up the Thames towards Barnes . Be prepared for a fair few lonely miles , at times resembling a training run . Also you may have to avoid public walkers/cyclists as it's. it a closed route . Aid stations and marshals top notch and a nice bespoke medal at the end
