This is a terrific event. Beautiful water, a gorgeous bike and relentless but straightforward run. Great marshalling and support. The aid stations were however basic at best with “self service” on the bike (no one will do that) and water on the run. Whilst cost effective and good for the environment (my five stars for sustainability attests), at least on the run they should have had Coke and snacks. On a note of safety, the water was incredibly cold and I personally only just made it. They should have done more in advance to warn / advise competitors. Probably the second worst I’ve experienced after a sea swim in Wales.
