I've run the half marathon twice and would do so again.
The course is more undulating than I was expecting and having not trained properly due to injury I found the hills testing. The last few miles along the banks of the Mersey I found tough - especially as the finish was in sight, but the course included running along the quays which added mileage so the finish was further away than it appeared.
The entertainment on course was good and I particularly enjoyed running through China Town.
Rock n Roll certainly know how to organise an event and the whole thing was like a well oiled machine (even the marshalls and photographers were flown in from the US for the event). The medal was fanrastic and I also liked how I earned an extra medal for doing the race 2 years running.
