I think the organisation of this race was superb. A great Event HQ, with local business and family areas. Bag drop, registration (where required) and location was really well planned out!

The course was great for a closed road race, local support lined some areas but there were loads of marshals along the way too! The scenery was beautiful, I live in the area and it was lovely to see areas of St Albans that I hadn't seen before!

There were water stops at every 1-2miles, which was particularly helpful as it was a very hot day! I've heard some reports that they had ran out of water however this was not true, I think they struggled with the demand at some water stops because it there was a breeze and they were serving water in cups, so harder to prepare easily. If they could serve water in bottles, I think this would have worked better because it's easier to run with a bottle instead of a cup and people could have made it last longer, potentially skipping some water stops.

At the finish, you get an ice lolly, medal and goody bag, including a t-shirt. I thoroughly enjoyed this race!
