Love them or hate them, there were plenty of hills. There was plenty of support from the locals and it wasn't the biggest of field of participates (I think there 1,800 runners who took part, which is a good thing in my opinion). There was enough aid stations and were well manned. The communication was great and the start & finish worked really well

My only slight gripe was that the first mile marker was at the six mile point, but were accurate afterwards. This was a minor issue for me. The roads weren't fully closed, with runners on one side and traffic on the other, but it takes a little common sense to keep clear of the cars.
