Set in the grounds of Thoresby Hall we couldn't of asked for the weather to be more perfect.
I ran the 10k this year and it was my first time takin part in The Longhorn.
Only constructive criticism- number collection tents could of done with having 1-500 etc signs on the tops. It got confusing and a few more tables out to write out the back of your race bibs. It was too crowded at the tables. Toilet eyes were long but moved fast
Bag drop off was super efficient as usual. Helpers we're super friendly.
I never saw or heard our pre race talk we were at the start line in more than enough time.
Marshalls as usual were amazing and very supportive esp the lady on the last 9k marker when we really needed that final push
The course was beautiful the scenery was amazing if you have not experienced proper trail before it's tough but it's worth it !
Looking forward to receiving the bespoke medals which was out of SBRS but at least they had something for us
