← Adidas Manchester Marathon
Targetted this race as I didn't get a London ballot place. Easy to get to the start via the tram system and then easy to find the start and get into my starting pen, although there were runners from other starting pens in the same one who should be starting further back!
Course was good, nice and flat as advertised and definately a PB course. Weather was kind to us although did heat up towards mid day.
Crowd support was great, lots of people cheering on the runners. Bottled water at the aid stations gets a very big thumbs up from me....much easier to drink from than cups!!!
I didn't use the bag drop facility so can't comment on that, but sounds like it was much better than in 2016.
Great medal to go with my new PB!
