← ATW Grafman Middle Distance Triathlon
The Grafman is a stunning location for a triathlon and as usual superbly run by ATW events. Safety conscious, efficiently run, friendly, great marshalling - there’s nothing not to like! The course itself is fantastic. Lovely clear lake to swim in with a sandy beach for the start, Aussie exit and finish. The bike is four out and back legs so easy to spot the field. There’s a nice mix of hills and flat terrain and the roads were quiet. The run is mixed terrain - gravel, grass and tarmac. A few undulations but nothing dramatic and a lovely flat stretch across the dam. Again it’s out and back so you know exactly where you are compared to your competitors. It’s middle distance race with exceptional value for money. Defo one for the bucket list!
