My third time around the course, and my fastest yet. The first couple of kilometres felt a little congested, not helped by some excavations associated with some building works making the roadside path a little narrower. Once through this the vourse widens a bit allowing everyone space to find their natural race pace. Same format as previously, a fast two lap course. Though the start of both laps there is a long gradual climb up Rake Lane, which did feel hard work when pushing for a time. I was just outside my 20k pb, but definitely a course to potentially get one. We'll organised, very friendly atmosphere on the day. A club organised race, so good value. Good communications via email before the event and good social media updates. The album cover inspired tshirt is a great little addition/tradition which creates some fun.
