All the support staff were amazing. I was disappointed to not be offered a drink/something to eat at the end of the race... it is a summer hot event and there was nothing at the end just to refresh yourself with. Many people are not local and also have journeys to do after the race. I am not suggesting a meal, but post event snack, much better than a medal that goes in the cupboard. I think environmentally all event organisers should be thinking about the ehtics of a giving out "a low quality t-shirt/hoodie" At least people shoukd have the choice whether they want one or not. Eco/environmental transparency of an event and who is behind it should be made clear on the information/registration website.
