As part of the tea relay I completed the first lap of the run only.

Arriving early is imperitative at this event to ensure you can register quieckly and get the infamous "Ballbiuster hoodie" before they run out. I was early...

Weather conditions were poor, heavy rain all morning and obviously for November cold! 

Parking is also a challenge but the crew do an amazing job to fit everyone in although leaving can be a bit of a challenge as you need to wait for people to leave potentially! 

The course is good but also narrow in places along some of the roads and all open to traffic although the Zig Zag is one way (up) with the flow of athletes.

Starting in pulsed groups worked well to spread the athletes out but conditions challenging fof the bike in the wet. I saw many punctures and DNFs.

Overall as always a great event and certaily one to tick off the list. 

Great work from the Humanrace Crew as always and hats off to them standing in the rain for 4+ hours.
