Thoroughly well organised, enjoyable event. Castle Howard is an ideal venue.
Last-minute distance and date change requested by me from Sunday to Saturday was effected within 2 hours of asking with no cost or hassle.
Covid constraints on the day seemed efficient and effective.
Pre-race info/ video briefing was far too much to absorb. In practice, all I needed to know was the initial check-in time and the site map - the marshalls shepherded me to the right places at the right times.
The campsite seemed poor value for money for a space in a field and a portaloo. No direct access to the assembly area meant moving to the carpark anyway. We were also unlucky with late arrivals nearby, so disturbed sleep as well.
In summary, an outstanding event, slightly let down by the camping arrangements.
