Interesting swim through the river section as long as you keep to the deeper channel. Run can be very muddy when wet as a lot of it is on clay so mud claws recommended. Beautiful scenic run route through forest, fields and castle gardens. Great aid stations and enthusiastic marshals despite the rain. Event villiage was great and had a band playing in front of deck chairs which was ideal for the post race pizza. Lots of distance and discipline options which is impressive. Car park very muddy when wet as it's in a field but tracktors were on hand and very helpful! Definitely recommended.
