What a great location for this type of event, overall I thought the whole organisation was very good, however if i do another event of this nature i will try and arrive 2 days prior as trying ro register then go to transition for racking then back to where i had just registered for the briefing did make the saturday stressfull, and if IM could have the briefing then allow a couple of hours before they shut transition this would be helpful. 

Some sort of matting on the beach for thw rolling start would be my only critcisim of the swim event, matting into T1 was very welcome. 

Bike course on closed roads was enjoyable i didnt find the course too hilly or technical, others did but i guess that comes down to where you train. 

The run course was flat but did get a bit repetitive doing what amounted to nearly 3 laps of the promenade but this did help knowing exactly where the aid stations would be, and must have been great for supporters. 

As a 1st 70.3 i would recommend, would i do it again or go longer on this course. Yes.
