This event was brilliantly managed to be Covid secure. The start was especially well organised with friendly, welcoming and competent announcements. These made it impossible to go wrong, kept everyone safely distanced and created the exciting pre-race atmosphere we all come for.
The course itself was great underfoot, alternating between interestingly meanders through woodland and along wide grassy tracks. There were a couple of steep little ramps to keep things interesting, but some long flat sections as well. A perfect trail run for beginners but with opportunities for experienced runners to fly along too. Perfect.
