← Pride Run 10k
This was a really fun event with a festival and celebratory feel, communicated well from the pre-race emails and from the moment of arrival - I was surrounded by rainbows and colourful runners and many were running with friends.
It was unfortunately quite a windy day in the park, so there was a fair bit of tree debris blowing around in places. Some of the race village had been adapted as a result, but it was all still well organised.
The medal is themed according to the event and hangs on a beautiful rainbow ribbon. Prior to the event it was possible to buy discounted food and drink vouchers for the pub at the park, and many had taken up this opportunity (including me!). This was a really fun event and there was music and inspiration speeches from the organisers and the charity.
