This was a really good event that certanly presented a challenge. C-19 meant that the course had been altered and was slightly longer (for the lowest mileage) than advertised and Strava recorded 37.5 miles vs the 30 I thought I was doing. Physcologically this was tough then from the first lap. Organisation and registration first class as was the briefing. Great to be able to base yourself so clost to the start. Location and route interesting but very technical in places. At some points I did feel if I'd really injured myself on the numerous trip hazards help would have been a long time and long way away (particularly on the 1st 2/3rds of the course) as there were limited marshalls. In saying all that I appreciate the difficulities the team had in getting the event on in the first place - so big well done. I like the You vs You motto as it certainly was like that at times but overall an excellent event, the format of which sets it apart from the normal marathons/ultras.
