← Cotswolds Lake 62 End Of Season Standard Triathlon
The marshalls and support staff were phenomenal. The team in the transition could spot the first timers (me being one) and were really engaging, explaining the process and what to do. The marshalls really made the event special, cheering and encouraging every spectator whilst also ensuring a safe event in light of Covid.
Run was on a trodden pathway through the woods surrounding the lakes, a lot of roots, tree stumps and little warrens throughout but well marked. Made it tough when you struggle running on uneven ground but that's a personal medical issue and unlikely to affect the masses.
Overall, a great event and really good one for a new starter into triathlon events
