starts with a unique swim start in the dark where you have to follow the light on the back of a canoe leading the way. the bike course was so hard but fantastic and well worth the pain. Some of the aidstations on the bike course didnt have water and only coke which made it hard when it turned into a hot hot day and we weren't able to get our hands on water for a good few Kms. Sadly i needed the medical tent in T2 so didnt get to get out on the run :( but the medical staff were so so friendly and lovely. The registration process needs a medical certificate from your doctor. The website to register is a bit old school and not 100% straight forward. However, the security for transition was very tight, more so than any other race ive ever done, but better to be too tight then lax with all those bikes hey :) The signs out on the course were fine, however the day beofre trying to find the registration area was hard sign wise as its not near the start/expo where everyone is naturally going to. Amazing race to ecperience though and i am 100% going back next year have a better race myself :)
