← The Big Half
This was my first time running this event. It had been hit hard by storms and snow in previous years. This time it was a cold but sunny day.
My pen was next the Tower of London.
I loved the route. Running through parts of London I’ve never visited before. Support was fantastic. I got goosebumps running over London Bridge because the support was so loud.
A great sized medal and a nice T-shirt and food bits at the end.
Unfortunately the end to bag reclaim is very slow and on a cold day would be a problem and that needs looking at
This was a preparation for running the full marathon and if this is half as good it’s going to be very special.
I loved this race.
