This race is held in stunning surroundings and yet again the great Castle Triathlon organisation and welcome was very evident. There is great support for the races and the crowds are fanyastic at cheering you all around the course. The swim is very good at allowing spectators to follow you virtually around the swim course, and it is a very pleasent place to swim. The bike course features in the main very good roads and very good marshal and police junction control, it takes in some lovely countryside as well which is always a bonus. The run is a mainly flat run, with a mixture of shaded woods and then open sections around the horse racecourse. Again fantastic support all around the run which is totally off road, though good quality paths and trails.

This really should be a must do event for any triathlete as Chantilly is a lovely place, the Chateau provides a really stunning backdrop and great organisation, the festival offers all distances to cater for everyone. You won't be disappointed.
