← Enigma Quadzilla

Enigma Quadzilla then!! 4 Marathons in 4 days. A very unique challenge. Four days all spent at Caldecotte Lake, Milton Keynes. Parking is free, a train station is nearby, and there is plenty of hotel choices locally, including at Caldecotte itself which I would strongly recommend for the 4 days. You can also book each day separately if you just wish to run one Marathon. The route is flipped clockwise to anti-clockwise each day in between, the exception this year was Sunday we ran in tough stormy conditions so the route was clockwise for 3 of the days, but in light of conditions I have no issue with this, it meant I was very comfortable with the route and new my pace points. Foxy and his team are so supportive, as are fellow runners, it makes for an amazing event with great support and a real family atmosphere if that’s the right way of describing it! The hardest thing I have ever done, but I’d run it again in a heartbeat. Good medals each day, and the prestige of the hoody with not only the 4 marathons on the back, but also how many times you’ve run it if a previous runner of Quadzilla! All nice touches, and I now have a lifetime running number for the event, which makes it all the more special. Nice touches.
