My third time attending one of the Run Aintree races and they continue to be a really good event. As with any RunThrough event, registration was easy, race number and chip were posted out and a number of emails were sent out with the race day arrangements. First time I have parked on site this year, a nice added bonus if your there early enough. Half Marathon is an out and back section before 4 laps. Your joined by the 5k & 10k runners an hour after the HM start. Apart from a small hill just after the start, the course is nice and flat and has pb potential! Water station available at the beginning of each lap. Lots of encouragment from the marshalls throughout. A nice medal at the end (maybe different ribbons around for each distance would be an improvement to them), along with water, bananas and flapjacks. No negatives from me at all, an enjoyable event in which I shall no doubt return to in the future.
