Having got a half marathon PB at my first lap race fairly recently, I was keen to try another, and when I learned it was the last time this event would be held I didn't want to miss out.
The race information was provided in good time and was very clear. On the day there was ample free parking and marshal assistance to get to the right area of the stadium for the start.
Pacers were provided and I decided to stick with expert assistance, with a marathon coming up the following weekend and I wanted to keep it fairly steady.
Plenty of water was available, friendly marshals encouraged you on each lap, and the medal at the end was a nice racetrack-themed design.
