← Old Mother Shipton's Shuffle
Think this was the first time Old Mother Shipton Shuffle has taken place. What we got was a multi lap race which covered a variety of distances from 5k to Ultra.
I entered the marathon, which meant 4x 6.55 mile laps to complete the 26.2miles.
Paths were decent and it was nice & scenic. There were a few out & backs and sneaky hills to tackle which made it a nice challenge.
Water stations were every 5k or so.
Marshals were awesome as always.
Finishers received a top quality medal, beer, chocolate and an array of home baked cake.
In summary-
Really enjoyable day. Absolutely loved it.
The course had a few hills but also had down sections to enjoy.
Fun, friendly race and a fantastic addition to IGUN's race calendar.
Thank you to the marshals for a great job.
