This is a friendly event, with a great medal and nice basic drift top. It is great value for money, and a difficult course, certainly not a pb potential. I have run this event 4 times now nd it is clearly growing in popularity.
It has a lovely section running down Cookstown Main Street, which coincided this year with a parade. I was however a little disappointed by the lack of support from locals this year. Don't get me wrong there were people around, and they were great, but not as many as I remember, but of course I am comparing to the last time I to which was part of the world fire and police games.
i would recommend this event for. Low key value event, which is certainly challenging.
