Really enjoyed this run, my race number was posted weeks ago with good instructions and a map of the route. All that was needed was for me to turn up on the morning and chill before the race. There were a few stores in the waiting area where I could purchase a coffee, tea and other snacks or a pig roast.
There race itself was a tough hilly course over the sheepwalk hills with some great views along the way. Well marshalled all the way around by Kinver rotary club and volunteers, I’m rapidly learning that the local rotary clubs really know how to put good races on in the Black Country. No medal for people who like bling but a good tech T-shirt to run in over the next few months as the nights draw in. All in all a good local race.
