← Beeston 10K & 5K
I always enjoy a grim up north run. This was the first time I'd run Beeston.
Registration was simple and easy, held in a nearby pub, which was just as well as it was lashing it down.
The organisers held every one in the pub for s bit longer to keep us dry. We all walked to the start enemas for a quick brief then the race started.
The route was a loop inside the park then a loop outside the park. Loads of signage, loads of marshals, all of them were friendly and encouraging dispite being stood out on pouring rain.
The other runners were all really friendly as well.
At the finish there was a medal, beer, chocolate and cake!!
