← The Hilly Helmet Challenge
It's a wonderfully organised 4.25M event. It's description is acurate, you're not fooled it's flat. You are given plenty of information beforehand and on the night about the course, the conditions, where the marshals are (there were plenty, you were never going to get lost). There is a local piece of pottery for every finisher along with lovely sweets in the goodie bag. There were spot prizes available at the end, you just had to check the spot prize number against your bib number. You could also purchase raffle tickets that saw numerous winners take home wine, chocolates etc. It's a fantastic evening, lots of great ideas with regards to decorated helmets and just a wonderful atmosphere.
