Standard run for all event with a decent T-shirt and nice medal. Well organised and marshalled, event ran smoothly.

Please note you have to collect your race number as it's not posted unlike other RFA events, I didn't know this until I got the race briefing e-mail it would have been nice to know this when signing up as you need to plan this time in when travelling. 

Nice that it didn't start unitl 10-45, ideal as I have to rely on trains, more runs should start later!

Start was around 3+ miles out of the city centre in Acklam, which wasn't ideal, £7 in a taxi and still had to walk to start due to road closures. 

Route is flat and fast, all on closed roads, wide route so easy to run without loads of crowding.

Not much crowd support on route. 

2 water stations at 5k and 8k.

All in a pretty bang average event, nice enough, but I won't be doing it again next year. Good for local area but not worth travelling any distance for.
