← Mossley 10k

A great little run. Starting off from the football ground. There were plenty of on street parking near the ground.

On leaving the ground we quickly turned left down a long hill. After that the run was either up or down.

One water station at the halfway point.

Marshalling was very good as the run was hosted by the local running club Mossley AFC who did an excellent job of managing the event.

Support was very good but one thing I did noticed was that there was a bias towards the Mossley runners which I suppose being a small tight knit community they would have known some of the runners.

The route varied between normal roads to some very pretty roads. One in particular towards the end you could see the valley below which was very picturesque.

I would class the run as not a pb event as it is quite hilly & quite a tough route.

There was a medal upon finishing which was fairly average & you can buy a t-shirt at registration if you so require.

All in all a decent run which will probably on my 2020 runlist.
