This is a nice little event held by Run Through. They hold three distances, 5k, 10k and a half marathon. Each of those distances start at different time so it's not overcrowded.

Arriving was fairly straight forward. I got there, parked up and found my way to the start easily. To be aware, you do have to pay for parking.

The bag drop was standard, no problems there. The toilets are a little stroll up to the main building which again isn't an issue.

Once we started the race it's clear that it's 4 laps of the course for the half marathon. This does mean you'll hit the same hill 4 times! A nice little challenge for the legs.

On finishing the first lap the 10k runners had been released so I enjoyed myself whilst I picked my way through the pack. There was no chance of a PB so I didn't mind weaving through.

The marshalls were great, loads of encouragement and plenty of direction when you came to a fork.

The medal was good, although I think it was the same medal for all distances. That always grinds me a little bit.

Overall this was a well organised event and one I would do again.
