← Cannock Chase 10k
A really really tough 10k course with significant hills both up and down.
Race start with a nice downhill section but quickly the hills being to move in the other direction with a long steady incline initially. The rises and falls then come thick and fast with the final brutal one at around 7k.
This race was my first toe in the water for trail runs back in 2017 and it was great to be back and doing it again with other trail runs now under my feet.
A fantastic popular event, very challenging but a big sense of achievement when done.
Good quality medal, goodie bag a little sparse but ok - a local race with a nice local feel.
Would highly recommend and will be back next year for sure
