← Swansea Half Marathon
A flat, fast race, perfect for those after a half marathon pb. Considering it is a half marathon in a city, it is very scenic due to part of its course running along the promenade on an ‘out & back’ style route.
The spectator support was great. There were motivational signs, cheering, jelly babies, cow bells & marshalls shouting encouragement to the runners. The atmosphere was buzzing. Unfortunately, this year’s half landed on an unexpectingly humid day, which made the runner experience tougher than usual. The half marathon was well prepared though. The water stations had plenty of water & the volunteers were quick at handing it out.
Overall, an excellent race. One of my favourite
