Had a dodgy knee so didn't enjoy this as much as others, but certainly not the fault of the race or the organisers. very good emails and information, and everything across the weekend seemed excellent. The route was undulating, but took in the football grounds and many of the parks in the city, before a stint along the Mersey towards the finish. Was a challenge in the wind, but still plenty of locals about. Decent amount of bands along the route as expected, and would definitely consider heading back to do this again when I'm fully fit. Also, the every scouser I met was lovely!
