← Lincoln Grand Prix Sportive
5th year I've done this event, the second year doing the 'short' which was 61 miles (couple of miles shorter and slightly different route than last time). Always well organised, lots of participants, friendly atmosphere and some lovely scenery with a couple of decent climbs in the Lincolnshire wolds. The best bit for me is finishing the ride in the beautiful bailgate area between Lincoln castle and cathedral after the cobbled climb of michaelgate with great support and encouragement from spectators.
A short ride back to base where a good selection of decent quality hot food was available, medal and impsport socks this years reward! Overall another enjoyable sportive which I shall recommend highly
