← Copenhagen Marathon
My whole experience is marred by fact I went all the way to Copenhagen, ran 26.2 miles in less than 6 hours and DIDNT get a medal due to greedy race organisers overselling the event.
However run was well organised, fantastically marshalled and very scenic. If you're after a PB the course is fast and flat BUT if you are going to run a time after 4 hours 45 mins you'll be in minority - this is a race mainly entered for by speedier runners. However water stations, supporters etc were plentiful at the back JUST NO MEDAL!
The organisers have promised to post but it takes away from the achievement, I'm lucky as it wasn't my first marathon but there were lots of people around me who were doing their first ever.
Also Copenhagen wasn't cheap or cool - it was very very warm on race day.
