Chester Marathon 2018 review.
The course itself takes you to/from the Chester racecourse in a circular route, which unfortunately doesn’t spend much time in the city itself but more time out in the countryside.
Having said that you will get to see some of the sights of the city, and the countryside is beautiful, so it’s no bad thing!
The course is a little more “undulating” than I expected. But not hilly and still enjoyable for a flat road runner such as myself.
I enjoyed the atmosphere, and there were some spectators out on the course especially in the city and in some of the small villages.
Nice medal, and long sleeve tech shirt.
Recommended.
