Chocolate. Running. Uber size medal. Race organisation was brilliant - RD was friendly and approachable- infact everyone was. It was a bit of a pity there were so few runners as the cakeathon had taken place the day before. I think a lot did a couple of laps or even just one to get the medal and go home. The race takes part on a section of the transpenine way which is slightly picturesque but becomes a bit dull when you’ve seen it four times... it’s a pity it’s a lap race as it’s a lovely area of the country. Nevertheless it was superbly organised and for a lap Mara I actually enjoyed it.
