Where to start... first, this should not been seen as a race. It’s a social event where friends can enjoy a run and drinking together. It is not timed and the atmosphere is layed back and relax. A cider festival with a few miles to run to earn those drinks.
The cider stations were well stocked and toilets and water were always available. One station even provided food.
The event village was friendly and inclusive with plenty of food to buy and enjoy the festival vibe.
At £45 it is good valuable with cider each mile and a T-shirt, medal and MORE cider at the finish line.
Oh oh and fancy dress is a must. It makes the day even better.
