The SBR Events team certainly know how to run an event and this one was no different. Lots of different events happening across the course of the day, I chose the 10k Canicross as it gavce an opportunity to give my dog her first 'proper' race! The event takes place on mostly private land around the Thoresby estate, the ground was a little rough in places, with a fair bit of debris on the ground, no surprise after high winds the day before. I chose trail shoes, which seemed a good choice. Information was plentiful and the route well-marked tjhroughout. SBR offer free parking and free photos, which makes the race entry extremely good valiue for money. I wish more races would follow this lead rather than adding on extras. In short a really good day and definitely one to do again.
