Very good communications from the organisers ensured I arrived on time, despite the M20 being closed over the weekend in exactly the junctions you need to get there! It was very busy at Race HQ as everyone picked up their bib & chip before the race - not sent via post, but the queues moved swiftly. Kudos to the marshals and spectators who gave support throughout and helped me keep moving - I was very tempted by an elderly gent's offer of a pint but thought I ought to finish the race first! This was my first ever 10K and it made for a great experience - will be doing it again. The race was also the Kent 10K championships with a lot runners much faster than this newbie!
