This was my first attempt an ultra marathon and I wasn’t disappointed what an amazing event. Course is 6 laps of a 10km course although my garmin suggested it was a bit longer than this.
Before the event I hadn’t been overly looking forward to it being a lapped course but because the course was so varied and scenery was amazing it kept you interested and getting the extra support from the event village at the end of each lap gave me that extra boost I needed. Also knowing what was ahead made it easier to keep going.
Couldn’t recommend the event more from the free easy parking at the start. To the quick registration Process. The amazing Marshall’s and even the medal was great. Absolutely buzzing to have finished tenth.
